Kasuga – Yakuza Like a Dragon Best Jobs

Kasuga’s Hero job is exceptional and you’re almost certainly going to want to keep him in it throughout the entirety of the main campaign. It learns healing skills, a party-wide attack buff, and a series of decently powerful single-target and area attacks, all while having above average growth in every stat.

You are, however, going to want to switch Kasuga to a Foreman briefly in order to learn the Exploration Ability: Demolish, which comes in handy in unlocking all the secret shops in Ijincho and all the side paths in the various dungeons throughout the game.

Once you reach level 99 in Kasuga’s Hero job, my recommendation for the next job would be Foreman. The incentive to keep leveling beyond 99 is the True Final Millennium Tower and you want Kasuga to be as tanky as possible, because him dying means game over for your party. Foreman is a great choice because it gets a ton of +HP bonuses. It also complements Kasuga really well with its +MP bonuses which help him freely cast his expensive Essence of Orbital Laser skill.

Foreman is a great class in its own right that deals massive single target damage as well as having two target-all extreme damage physical attacks.

Once you’ve mastered Foreman, Breaker is always a fantastic choice for physical characters thanks to its abundance of Attack and Agility bonuses.

Eri Kamataki

Conditions:

Completely beat the business management game and achieve the number 1 share ranking
Maximise Ichiban’s Kindness at level 10
Speak to Eri at Ichiban Holdings, followed by Survive Bar

Eri’s bond is advanced by completing the business management minigame. This is definitely worth doing as soon as possible as it is the best way of earning significant yen, which will be needed for Sumire’s relationship as well.

As you hit the business milestones, Eri’s bond will increase. She will soon be unlocked as a playable party member and when you have earned the number 1 share ranking, you’ll have her at the maximum bond level.

On top of this, Ichiban will require maximum level 10 Kindness. A substory will then be available at the Ichiban Holdings office. Unlike Saeko’s above, this will actually be prompted on the map.

Кроме прокачки всё и вся Yakuza 7 полна и других РПГ элементов, например, в некоторых районах вас будут ждать враги, которых вам не победить без прокачки или же лута, которым цитата: «вы можете обвешаться с ног до головы, дабы повысить свои характеристики». Но еще одна примечательная вещь — это работа. Да, в Like a Dragon мы теперь можем не только жить, но и работать. Ура. Наверно.

При помощи уже упомянутого Hello Work можно найти работу для себя или члена своей команды. Однако нет, успокойтесь, мои уставшие от жизни и труда друзья, рабочие места в Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon олицетворяют класс персонажа. Например, сотрудник национальной полиции будет эдаким аналогом тяжелого рыцаря: он одет в броню и вооружен дубиной. Saeko Mukoda

Conditions:

Max Saeko’s bond at level 5
Max Ichiban’s Style at level 10
Talk to Saeko in Survive Bar and agree to a drink

As a party member, Saeko’s bond levels need to be increased by completing bonding events in Survive Bar.

As you’ll likely be aware, bond levels can be increased by fighting battles, triggering party chat and eating at restaurants. Just be sure to complete each bonding event as soon as you have reached the maximum bond points. Since these bond points don’t carry over, you will be wasting time by fighting battles before you have completed the latest available bonding event.

Once you have maxed out Saeko’s bond level at level 5, you will also need to maximise your Style at level 10. If both conditions are met, you can speak to Saeko in Survive Bar again and she will suggest having a drink together, unlocking substory 47 and completing the romance. Note that this substory will not appear on the map.

Go to the upstairs section of Wette Kitchen to run into a boy eating on his own. Come back to the location again and you’ll be sent to find a glove. Defeat the thief and go back to Wette Kitchen to complete this substory and get Noboru for Ichiban Confections.

21. Dumpster of Demise

Go to Romance Workshop on the map and this substory will be opposite. A man is picking through Yakuza rubbish, and will give you an item the second time you visit him. Go back a third time and you’ll have to fight off some Yakuza. Try getting him a real job when he becomes available for Ichiban Confections.

22. An Act of Kindness

You’ll find a young girl asking people for money near Jinnai Station. Give her the most money you can for a personality boost, and then suggest she go «Near the Popular Eatery». Go back to that spot and choose «Listen Up» to get a confidence boost. You’ll need to go to the location on the map to get into a fight, before coming back and finishing this substory. It’ll come back later though.

24. Fifty Shades of Play

Go to the parking lot in the Red Light District to find a Dominatrix (yes, it’s that kind of quest) being harassed. Go to a park to find Mr. Massochist and fight him. You’ll deal no damage to him so don’t worry about using any techniques. You’ll then have to go to Poppo and talk to the dominatrix and his mother. Go back and fight off some enemies for the Dominatrix and you’ll get Mr. Massochist as a summon

25. A Fading Star

Go to Eomeoni’s Vow in Koreatown to start the quest. You’ll have to follow the drunk man to another bar in the Bar District to continue the quest. You’ll get into a fight and then will have to sober the man up with some water. You can find water at any vending machine. Once you’ve done this you can go find him again, where you’ll have to fight some more enemies. Do so and you’ll finish the quest and unlock Yu-Jin as a summon.

27. The Miracle of Spice

Go to the Crossroads at the end of Hyaeyeki Street to see an old woman trying to cross to no avail. She’ll leave and you’ll be directed to a spice seller. He’ll give you the last bowl of spice, and you’ll be led to several different locations on the map to give people the spice to solve their issues. Go back to the old woman last to help her cross the road and finish the quest.

How Long is Yakuza: Like a Dragon?

Past entries in the series are known for not shying away when it comes to length, and Like a Dragon is not different. You can expect a long main story taking you through different cities, with the main one being Yokohama, as well as over 50 substories, minigames, dungeons, and all sorts of additional tasks.

You won’t have to invest in other businesses and can save up for more profitable properties as well when you hit the next Rank.

The following three options will maximize your profit going forward into Rank 100 — 51. R and N employees will get you by for the most part, which means you can focus on investing in your business. Remember that upgrading your business is just as good, if not better, than employing SR characters in some cases. Focus on leveling up and increasing the Ranks of your employees to prepare them for Shareholder Meetings, since this is where you’ll want to focus your attention while climbing Ranks.

Upgrading these facilities, similarly to how you upgraded employees for Rank 100 — 50 means you can keep labor costs low and slowly rake in that money. Remember, it isn’t about going fast. It’s about keeping consistent, keeping your employees happy, and excelling in Shareholder Meetings.

Just keep grinding at the wheel, and if you have enough money to upgrade without going into debt, feel free to do so. Just remember to keep your employees happy and have enough extra funds to snatch up any SSR units.

Invest in SSR employees that have high stats focused on what will keep your businesses afloat. However, SR units can work in a pinch as long as you upgrade your facilities.

That’s really the trick to the entire thing — upgrading your facilities. Doing so means that your businesses can practically run themselves. Keep grabbing SSR employees when they show up for Shareholder Meetings, but don’t overextend and empty your wallet just to have a shiny group of SSRs when SR and even Rs can do the trick if leveled up enough.

Yakuza 0 или Yakuza Kiwami ?

Давайте проясним пару фактов. Изначально первая часть серии Yakuza появилась еще в 2005 году на PlayStation 2. После этого все номерные части выходили исключительно на консоли Sony и то только через несколько лет после релиза в Японии. Такие уж издержки японского геймдева. Серия была заложником одной консоли вплоть до 2018 года, когда на PC вышел приквел всей серии Yakuza 0. Сама по себе нулевая часть появилась в Японии в 2015 году после того как уже существовало пять номерных частей. То есть, несмотря на то, что история разворачивается до событий первой игры и рассказывает о молодости Кирю, с точки зрения технологического прогресса и геймдизайна она является намного более продвинутой в геймплее, побочных заданиях и масштабах, чем было до этого.

После успеха Yakuza 0 разработчик взял ее движок и выпустил на его основе ремейк первой игры, которая получила подзаголовок Kiwami, а еще через год был выпущен ремейк второй игры Yakuza Kiwami 2, но уже на движке Yakuza 6. Если вы загляните на фанатские форумы, то поймете, что люди разделены во мнении о том, с чего стоит начинать знакомство с серией: с Yakuza 0 или Yakuza Kiwami. То есть начинать с приквела, что логично, либо с ремейка первой оригинальной игры. Ответ прост – выбирайте самый комфортный для вас вариант, я же опишу нюансы касательно выбора.

Как я упоминал, нулевая часть появилась после пятой игры и развивает идеи серии, которые были заложены на протяжении всей ее истории, когда Kiwami – это ремейк первой игры. Так, Yakuza 0 представляет собой эволюцию механик и всех лучших идей предшественников, ибо создавалась по заветам хорошего сиквела – взять все самое лучшее, что было до этого и умножить на 2. По этой причине Yakuza 0 и считается, возможно, лучшей частью всей серии как таковой. В ней сразу два главных героя , самая разнообразная и интересная боевая система, отличная для каждого из персонажей, огромное разнообразие побочных активностей, плюс одни из самых лучших побочных заданий в серии, в которых вам дают вариативность.

Автор этого текста начинал знакомство с данной серией именно с Yakuza 0, однако делал это по причине, что играл в нее на момент ПК релиза в 2018 году . Поэтому когда я дошел до Kiwami, игра, несмотря на то, что она потрясающая, чувствуется не такой масштабной, как Yakuza 0. По факту после приквела, Kiwami ощущается более урезанной в плане контента и механик. Для лучшего сравнения, представьте, если бы вы поиграли в самую первую часть Assassin’s Creed после Assassin’s Creed 2.

Поэтому я советую знакомиться с серией именно с Yakuza Kiwami, а затем переходить к приквелу, так как именно тогда вы почувствуете, что вам дают больше возможностей по сравнению с предшественником. Кроме того, это будет работать еще и с сюжетной точки зрения, ибо после знакомства со всеми главными героями Kiwami для вас будет настоящим шоком узнать подноготную этих персонажей в приквеле. И опять-таки, не бойтесь, если вы пришли сюда сразу после мемов про Baka Mitai, она есть и в Kiwami.

После того как вы пройдете Kiwami, а затем нулевую часть, можете со смелой душой двигаться к Kiwami 2. Именно тогда Kiwami 2 покажется еще более мощным геймплейным и техническим скачком, чем даже Yakuza 0. Хотя не могу скрывать, что в ней боевая система становится более казуальной, а побочные истории, наверно, самые слабые во всей серии. Зато графически Yakuza Kiwami 2 самая продвинутая часть серии, с одним из лучших антагонистов среди всех остальных частей, и одним из лучших второстепенных сильных женских персонажей в принципе.
